Law Abiding Citizen Plot:

Family man Clyde Shelton (Gerard Butler) discovers his wife and daughter are murdered after a home invasion. After the killers are arrested a young Philidelphia prosecutor Nick Rice (Jamie Foxx) takes on the case. The young prosecutor is persuaded by his boss to let one of the suspects take a lighter sentence if he testifies against his accomplice. Shelton takes his revenge years later by killing the suspect who got off easy. He goes on to warn the Rice that if he doesn’t fix the broken justice system then key players in the trial will be killed.

It’s not long before Clyde’s threats become reality as high profile targets begun to be assassinated one by one leaving the authorities helpless to stop the carnage. Nick becomes the only one able to stop this terror on the city thus racing against time to stop the blood shed before the next victim falls.
